Beauty in the centre of Agliano Terme

La Maggiorina is located in the centre of the charming village Agliano Terme, in the Monferrato area of Piedmont.

This Unesco area offers some of the most distinguished vines, dishes and surroundings you will find in northern Italy.

Our apartments are the perfect place to stay for exploring the highlights of the Monferrato, Langhe and Roero area.

At La Maggiorina you get the best of two worlds; on one side of the house you have the magnificent view. You may even be lucky enough to see the Alps in the background on crisp and clear days.

And, literally, on the other side you are in the middle of a genuine village with less than 100 meters’ walk to bank or pharmacy and local/speciality shops like bakery, sausage maker, butcher and tabaccheria, pastry, ice cream bar, wine bar etc.

Add 200 meters of walk and you will find local restaurants serving fantastic piedmontese food in a lovely atmosphere.

Need a “fixer upper”? In Agliano there are two beauty salons and a hairdresser to polish and prepare your body, mind and hair before all your experiences!

So, if you are a couple looking for a place to celebrate love and life or you are a group of people looking for a place to eat and drink like the royals or you simply want to have a good time, Agliano Terme is the perfect place to visit and La Maggiorina is the perfect place to book your stay!

THE HOSTS

We, Jan and Anja, are a Norwegian couple who will do our best to make your stay at La Maggiorina optimal when you are visiting our region!

We immediately fell in love with everything Agliano and the surroundings offer the first time we visited here (April 2018). We quit our jobs, sold our house, caravan and cabin to move to this beautiful area to rent out apartments. We are also happy to offer our guests tips on places to visit and guidance, if needed.

The decision to buy La Maggiorina was very simple – we fell for the building’s perfect imperfections and we loved the location among the beautiful hillsides. Also considering that the Monferrato area offers some of the best vines and dishes in the world – what more could a couple from Norway ask for?
